President/Project ManagerDawna joined Inkit in 1991 as our production coordinator and is the owner. Before arriving in the north, Dawna attended Lethbridge Community College, graduating with an Honour’s Diploma in Journalism.
Dawna qualifies as a northerner, having been in Yellowknife since 1982. She brings to her work a broad knowledge of the north and her strength lies in her ability to understand the intricate requirements of each project and foster creative ideas. Her eye for detail guarantees accuracy and quality control. This ensures our clients receive quality products, on time, each and every time.

Advertising CoordinatorDave joined Inkit in October 2006, bringing 23 years of northern advertising experience and expertise to our team. With a Communications Diploma from Lethbridge Community College, and extensive experience with local, national and international advertising, Dave goes above and beyond to provide advertising placement services that are unparalleled in the north.
Having spent most of his life in the north, Dave also brings with him a true knowledge of the geography, diverse cultures and many intricacies, nuances and details that ensure the most effective, appropriate and economical market reach for our clients.

Project CoordinatorHaving grown up in Yellowknife, after a number of years in Calgary, Amber returned “home” to the north and joined Inkit in 2011. With a University of Alberta Bachelor of Design Degree, major in Visual Communications, minor in Business and Marketing, Amber brings exceptional organizational and design skills to our team.
Amber’s design knowledge, coordination abilities and attention to detail see each project guided with care and precision, quickly and efficiently. She ensures our clients’ projects meet their needs and objectives and that they are handled professionally from start to finish.

DesignerWe recruited Steven from Toronto in November 2009. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Seneca College and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from AMA Computer College.
Steven has a wealth of experience using the most current design software and techniques. His ingenuity and technical proficiency makes him a very well rounded designer. Whether designing for print media, custom web sites or creating flash animation, Steven maintains a solid outcome for each project we throw his way.

Rhonda Kennedy

Production Artist, DesignerRhonda joined Inkit near the end of 2003, bringing advanced knowledge of the screen printing industry. She started screen printing in 1985 and her career has also included digital printing, training and quality control, among managerial responsibilities.
Also, as a multi-talented individual, Rhonda is our in-house photographer, cut vinyl expert and one of our designers. Rhonda’s skills, attention to detail and insistence on quality make her a valuable member to our team of dedicated professionals.

Office AssistantBarb joined our team in October 2006. She brought with her 17 years of experience in reception, customer relations, file organization and inventory management. She also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queen’s University and a Teaching Certificate from Ottawa Teacher’s College.
Barb is an expert multi-tasker and organized individual who is always willing to jump in and provide assistance to any project. She is our frontline person – always providing friendly and efficient service to our customers’ enquiries.

Mila Vendiola
Epegenia (Mila) Vendiola
EmbroidererMila joined our team in August 2011, bringing with her over 13 years of experience in embroidery. Originally from the Philippines, Mila came to Yellowknife in 1998. Her talent and love for sewing led to her work with Nunasi Corporation’s embroidery and promotional company, Arctic Spirit Promotions, where she completed training on the embroidery equipment and quickly became an integral part of the business.
When Inkit purchased the embroidery assets from Arctic Spirit, Mila brought her talents and expertise over to our team. She is skilled and knowledgeable in her trade, and most of all – she loves what she does!

Cheryl Robinson-Houwelling
Cheryl Robinson-Houwelling
Contract Writer/CoordinatorBorn and raised in Yellowknife, Cheryl joined Inkit at the beginning of 2008 as a Project Coordinator. In June 2011 she transitioned to working contract for us – helping out with research and writing projects and filling in as a Project Coordinator during holiday situations.
With a Bachelor of Applied Communications Degree, major in Journalism, from Mount Royal College, and exceptional organizational abilities, Cheryl helps to ensure our clients’ needs are met.

Rob Butler
Rob Butler
Contract DesignerRob became an Inkit partner in 1985 and was instrumental to the growth of the company. Although he left the north in 2005, after 24 years, Rob continues to work for Inkit, connected virtually on a real-time live basis. He is still available to help out on an as-needed basis.
His passion for graphic design work, his northern knowledge and his design expertise allow us to count on him to help ensure our clients’ needs are met.

AccountsJody has been in the north since 1997 and joined Inkit in 2011. With over 14 years experience in finance and administration, and an accounting certificate from Keyin College, Jody is in charge of our accounts payable/receivable.
Paying our bills is something we take very seriously and our suppliers thank us for it. We have an excellent reputation, which rides on the fact that we are reliable and keep all our accounts current.
